As we all know by now, it's likely Vincent Price (May 27, 1911 – October 25, 1993) will appear at least once on my blog every Halloween, and this year is no exception...and, well, this time he's brought a couple of other now deceased celebs with him, in the form of Sir Terry Wogan (3 August 1938 – 31 January 2016) and Paul Daniels (6 April 1938 – 17 March 2016).
This new documentary from Matthew Miele airs October 30 on TCM then moves to HBOMax in November..sadly there's no news of where to see it in the UK, but I'm sure it'll appear somewhere soon!
*~*
English magician and television presenter Paul Daniels did a couple of Halloween Specials in his time...this one above is from 1987...
*~*
And this is Vincent Price on Wogan, presented by Sir Terry who has haunted my blog before interviewing horror stars, where I also posted this clip, but I'll post it again anyway.....
*~*
...And here's Pauls second Halloween Special from 1988!
*~*
Here's Vincent again with another of his Cooking - Price Wise programs...
*~*
Paul Daniels was a frequent guest on Sir Terry's gameshow Blankety Blank in the '70s and '80s, but look what famous horror star showed up on it in 1982....
*~*
And here they all are together, in a clip recently uploaded to the BBC Archive! And yes Paul Daniels could be very annoying when he wasn't doing magic.....
Wow, only two more days to go after this! It has gone by waaay too fast...so quick! Head on over to the Countdown hub and go see what all the other Cryptkeepers have been up to! Like Halloween Horror Haiku who yesterday looked at some amazing chilling chocolate!!
