The Man Who Painted On Air!

Not the vaults of The Digital Comic Museum tonight, but the dusty depths of Comic Book Plus which has rustled up this oddity from Charlton's Unusual Tales Issue 7, dated May 1957, about a painter who seems to have discovered a way to create pictures without any canvas.....

*~*

What a GAS that story was, huh? Al had a BRUSH with death there, but hearing the aliens plans was a STROKE of good luck wasn't it! Sorry, these puns are terrible...I was just trying to ADD SOME COLOUR to this post...but I can tell its falling flat, so I'll get my COAT......

If those puns haven't tortured you into wanting to quit the internet for the night, why not go check out the Countdown Hub to see what the other bloggers taking part in the Countdown to Halloween have on offer for you...just click the badge below and you'll be whisked off there...or you could just head straight over to Dex's AEIOU...and Sometimes Why who is reminiscing about a very seasonal office space today!

    1. It is rather good... I reckon we should increase it's popularity by trying to fit it in whenever possible! Anyway, I'm glad this story wasn't a floperoo!

  2. Frank? Is this you in disguise? Just kidding. Frank is my chemo infusion nurse who loves to tell bad puns all day (and today was infusion day). The comic was a fun read (once I figured out to click on each picture): The speaker used some fun language and alliteration. And it had a funny positive attitude ending. I agree with Lady M, floperoos is a great word.
