Running very late...so have more Halloween Cards!

Another hectic day travelling back to the parents means that although I've been here for 3 hrs, I've only realy just sat down now.  And I'm tired, so here's some more Halloween cards and then hopefully tomorrow I can get back to other stuff like spook sightings and gruesome games!  Not that it really matters, you guys seem to love these cards as much as me anyway.....

There is something that might make it a bit more interesting this time though...some of these ones I found came with a message on the back, which is a nice look at what people were doing with them!

(About the only thing I can read with this handwriting is "Hello there! Are you still alive?")

'Dear Rose,
Received your card and many thanks for same. No doubt you had began to think
that we were no longer in existence. I'm sure you will accept an apology for the long
delay. How is everyone?  We're having ideal autumn weather. Wish you were here.
With love,
Minnie (unsure of last name)'

(Something about this one tickles my funny bone!)

(Something about being down town and people taking 10 cases in 10 days with this one I think..finding it hard to read...what do you guys think?)

"With Kindest regards from all to all. Your loving cousin, Mary (Something)"

(That one above is another one with a Scottish flavour!)

Be sure to go check out what eevryone else is up to over at the Countdown Hub by clicking the badge below, or you could hop straight on over to The Skeleton Key  where you can see how NYC is celebrating the season!

We're meant to be getting a big storm this side of the pond tomorrow, so hopefully everything will be okay, but if I go missing it's probably just a case of  the power being out, as I'm out in the sticks....let's keep our fingers crossed that isn't the case though!

  1. It is funny how I hear the boomers lament the loss of cursive and penmanship. I can barely read any of this handwriting.
